<p>My church, St Mary Magdalen's, has been a huge part of my life since the start of 2011. For those of my friends who are Christians, you will understand the transforming power of that faith, and I hope you will support this amazing church so it can continue to be a light to all believers.</p> <p>But I also know that a lot of you aren't christians, or have issues with religion generally, and that is completely fine; but the work of "Mags" is something we can all respect. It provides a safe, quiet place for anybody who needs it, hospitality to the homeless, a warm place with warm people for anybody who needs pastoral care, and goes about the incredible work of visiting the housebound, sick and dying.</p> <p>On the 22nd of this month I will be taking part, with other members of my church, in 24 hours of solid shifts of saying the rosary. It is on the eve of our Dedication Day, and is a prayer vigil of a whole day before the Blessed Sacrament.</p> <p>I would absolutely love to be able to give something back to the religion and the specific church which has, in many ways, been the saving of me.
