My story
Hey! Thanks for coming to my page.
I'm Ella and I've decided to cycle 3000 miles this summer from London to Istanbul. Along with 12 others from Durham University we shall be tackling the summer heat in an attempt to ride approx 100km a day for 50 days all in the name of fundraising...so please help us out!
It may shock you to hear that right now there are 10 times more slaves being trafficked than there were at the peak of the Trans-Atlantic slave trade! It shocked me and I really want to help do something about it.
This is why I'm raising money for Unseen(UK), a charity who aim to disrupt and challenge human trafficking at all levels. They specifically focus on the fight against trafficking of women for sexual exploitation.
The sad truth is that much of this is going on right under our noses. Unseen(UK) do invaluable work with girls who have been sex trafficked in the UK, and especially with the forthcoming Olympic games their work is vital!
Between 500,000 and 800,000 women are trafficked into the EU each year! The fact that this still goes on today makes me angry, it also makes me crazy enough to attempt a 3000 mile cycle! So please, please help the amazing work of Unseen(UK) by sponsoring me! let’s see what a difference we can make

unseen helps survivors human trafficking. Primarily focussing on women who have been bought and sold to be forced into sexual exploitation, unseen raises awareness of the issues surrounding trafficking and aims to provide safe housing for survivors, allowing them the chance to rebuild their lives.
