It's been a struggle for me to do any milage in practice for this challenge - I like to think I am reasonably fit but 100km is in another league to what I'm used to.  On one of my lonely training rides I did wonder what had possessed me to sign up for this, but then in the evening I saw an episode of "24 hours in A& E" and a patient had been saved by the swift response of the Air Ambulance and then I knew exactly the reason why.  It's simply a great charity helping people across the community.  Any sum hower small will be gratefully received - 1p per Km once doubled by Fidelity will magically become £2!
