We support people out of homelessness to help them regain their independence

Story

I saw some photos on the seafront about how women were scared and vulnerable on the streets of Worthing and Brighton because they were homeless and I wanted to do something to help.

In April, I am going to run, walk & cycle 100km in total and hopefully raise my target of £500 to help homeless women and men in Worthing.

I will post photos and updates here throughout April so please follow my challenge!

Turning Tides is the largest provider of support for homeless men and women in West Sussex. For over 28 years, the charity has continued to grow and develop a wide range of services to meet the individual needs of those accessing their support. Turning Tides believe that everyone has the right to a home and supports people at every stage in their journey out of homelessness. The charity brings together compassionate individuals and organisations who work tirelessly to transform the lives of people in the local community.

About the charity

Turning Tides, previously WCHP, believe that everyone has the right to a home, regardless of the difficulties and issues they may face in their lives. We believe in showing those who need our help that the wider community are there to support them and to offer hope for a better future.
