<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p>
<p>Darren Parker sadly passed away on 14 January 2011, whilst playing football, one of the many things that he loved. He was struck down by cardiomyopathy at the age of 43. </p>
<p>In Darren's memory I would like to help the Jersey Heart Support Group in their vision to provide island wide screening for the early detection of people with heart muscle and electrical problems.</p>
<p>I aim to run 10k on 21 August 2011. I will run alongside those who are running in memory of Jayson Lee. Jayson also sadly died of cardiomyopathy two years ago whilst playing football. Darren was on the pitch at the time and they were in the same team.</p>
<p>I would like to thank Jayson's family and friends for organising the event and for allowing me to run with them. </p>
