Story

Hi everyone,

Thanks for taking a moment to look at my JustGiving page. In June 2014 a team of around 50 Leeds Uni students are cycling from the university steps to the Brandenburg Gate in central Berlin, through 3 countries, 8 days and nearly 600 miles.

As most of you know I have never done any cycling in the past so to say this is going to be a huge challenge for me would be an understatement. Its your donations for this very worth while cause that will keep me going when my bum feels like its stuck to the seat and my legs feel like blocks, so please dig deep!

The Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust are a small, Huddersfield-based charity that are unique in their support for young people dealing with cancer. They began as a research fund which specifically looks into types of cancer that are prevalent in young people, which is the only charity nationally with this focus. They also support young people in the West Yorkshire area who are undergoing treatment for cancer, and this support is incredibly important for those who, for example, may be spending Christmases and birthdays in hospital, and not at home with their families where they should be.

Thank you so much xxxxxx
