Story

<p>Firstly, a huge <strong>Thank You </strong>for visiting this sponsorship page!&nbsp; The PBC Foundation is an extremely worthy cause and often gets overlooked, so any pennies/pounds/notes you may have spare will be greatly appreciated.</p> <p>PBC is a degenerative liver disease which effects 1 in 4000 people, and is more common in women.&nbsp; The PBC Foundation provides support for people suffering with Primary Biliary Cirrhosis, thier families and friends.&nbsp; To learn more about this charity please visit: <a href="http://www.pbcfoundation.org.uk">www.pbcfoundation.org.uk</a></p> <p><span style="color: #3366ff; text-decoration: underline;">Mamma G</span></p> <p>As many of you know, my beautiful Mum (Joanie) passed away 4 years ago from Primary Biliary Cirrhosis. Although she had suffered with it for more than 10 years, she was&nbsp;courageous, brave, and stong&nbsp;and<span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 12pt; mso-fareast-font-family: &#39;Times New Roman&#39;; mso-bidi-font-family: &#39;Times New Roman&#39;; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;">&nbsp;</span>still managed to get to the shops, Marks &amp; Sparks being a favorite!&nbsp; Thank goodness for her stubbornness, she kept us all going!</p> <p><span style="color: #3366ff; text-decoration: underline;">How we are raising awareness &amp; dosh!</span></p> <p>My friend Dan Badger and I (mainly Dan) had the 'bright idea' of running The Blackminster Half Marathon this March (11th).&nbsp; Yes, that's right, 13 miles..........ouch!&nbsp; We now have 7 weeks to get into shape - panic has set in!</p> <p>The idea of running a Half Marathon for self satisfaction wasn't quite enough, so we thought what better way to raise money, for Mum's charity! Please sponsor the worthy cause.&nbsp; At least our legs will be aching for a blumin' good reason <span style="font-family: Wingdings; font-size: 12pt; mso-ascii-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-font-family: &#39;Times New Roman&#39;; mso-hansi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-font-family: &#39;Times New Roman&#39;; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA; mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Wingdings;"><span style="mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Wingdings;">J</span></span></p> <p>xx<span style="color: #ff00ff;">&hearts;</span>xx Love you Mum xx<span style="color: #ff00ff;">&hearts;</span>xx</p> <p>So please dig deep and donate now.</p>
