<p>On the 13th November I'll be standing on top of the 75ft tall self storage building at Ashton Gate, ready to abseil down it's lofty sides to raise money for the Bristol Dogs &amp; Cats Home.</p> <p>The home takes in stray and unwanted animals, and they also have a clinic for sick and injured animals. They receive no funding from the National RSPCA, lottery or government, so without people like you and me, they'd have to leave these animals out on the streets.</p> <p>At any one time they are home to 120 dogs, 50 cats and more than 60 small animals; they have an annual food bill of <span class="st">&pound;52,000; and their annual running costs are </span><span class="st">&pound;1.6 million!</span></p> <p>So please help me raise money so that these animals can be cared for until they find a new home - many of them have been abandoned, neglected or subjected to cruelty, and the clinic will provide them with whatever treatment they need before being transferred across to the Dogs &amp; Cats Home for rehoming.</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
