Fundraising for Hope Health Action
Story
This September Amy and I will be raising money for Hope Health Action by completing the 3 peaks challenge in 24 hours!

Our lovely friend, Julia, has visited Haiti numerous times and taken part in various fund raising activities to support Hope Health Action. This charity works in Cap Haitien (one of the largest cities in Haiti), giving aid to vulnerable people in the local community. Hope Health Action aim to better the maternity care within local communities and support those with disabilities and additional needs. Hope Health Action want to challenge the stigmas associated with disabilities, developing healthcare and disability care for the most marginalised within society. The pictures I have included give an an insight into some of the work that is currently taking place.
Consequently, Amy and I have both been inspired and have decided to take part in the 24 hour - 3 peaks challenge, to raise more funds to support the continuing work of Hope Health Action.
On the 16th September, Amy and I will start by climbing Ben Nevis, before driving to Scafell Pike (to climb in the middle of the night) and then finally completing the challenge by climbing Mount Snowdon. Julia will be our chauffeur for the weekend and (hopefully) our personal cheerleader. She will be keeping us motivated and on track to achieve the challenge within the time constraint.
Training has commenced and we are both looking forward to supporting such a fantastic cause.
