Future for Nepal is a wonderfully worthwhile charity to support. Dedicated to giving Nepalese children a better and safer start in life, if I raise the money I need I will be able to go to Nepal in August for 6 weeks to do my bit to fight against the desperate poverty that is so apparent in this country.

7.7million Nepalese live below the poverty line, and the tough conditions of the terrain are clearly obstacles to development.

I believe that education is the key to development and Future For Nepal is a charity committed to improving educational opportunities.

I will be working with disadvantaged children: those who without the money I am fundraising would not have the chance to have an education and improve their lives.

It must also be understood that this is not merely an opportunity for a holiday or a gap-year "volunteering" project. It is a result of years of volunteering in the UK and mainland Europe.

To raise money I will aim to do a mix of sponsorships, rag-raids and one off events such as organising pub quizzes. So please, help me to support future for Nepal.
