Thank you so much for visiting my page, i would be very grateful if you could take the time to read exactly why I want to raise money for Mencap. Mencap is a charity that enables people with disabilities to have equal opportunities. There are so many cases where people in care homes are mis treated. As some of you may know one of my family members has a learning disability and this has a huge impact on his everyday life. He is full of life, and such a joy to be with, but just because he has a disability that does not make him any different. He has the same right to have opportunities and independance as anyone. But due to the recession, there has to be cuts somewhere and this affects his everyday life, and causes limitations such as days out. I want to raise money, not only for him but for lots of people who are in the same situation as him, as this will have a huge impact on lives all around the world.
