We exist to give a lifetime of support to the wider Army family, regardless of where or when a soldier served. We act swiftly and efficiently in providing support in the form of grants to those who find themselves in real need. We also provide grants to charities who support the wider Army family.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We are running for two soldiers who both died at the tender age of 32. Both left behind families, with young children.

Ellie is running for Corporal Andrew Roberts http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-17971085

And Hilary is running for Major Alexis Roberts http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7031279.stm

Our aim is to raise £50 pounds each, however we would love to be able to donate much more than that as it is a worthy and just cause. We are running a meter for every service man or woman wounded in combat since the start of the war, which is a grand total of 10K.

The beautiful thing about this run is that it means that the lives aren't lost in vain. The charity we are supporting is ABF The Soldiers Charity, which raises money for the families left behind, the soldiers in need of rehabilitation and the soldiers at war. They give financial support to all who need help, because "They risk so much for us, but to them its just doing their job".

Please share this page with friends and family, the more donations we receive the more work can be done to help the charity.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
