Wrenn does Tough Mudder 2013

Tough Mudder · 4 May 2013
Quite foolishly, I have enetered as part of a 23 strong team into what proclaims to be ''probably the toughest event on the planet".
Why? I hear you ask. Because we hope to raise lots of money for the MNDA (Motor Neurons Disease), which sadly our good friend has been diagnosed with. We want to show him our love and support by doing this event in his name and raising as much money for the chairty as possible.
In a nutshell, the course runs over 12 miles and contains deadly named obstacles such as fire walker, electroshock therapy, gauntlet, everest, boa constricter, arctic enema... and the list goes on!
Those closest to me will know that the only exercise I get is walking 2 minutes to work and back every day, or 2 minutes to the pub and back, which needless to say is pretty pathetic! I started my training a couple of weeks ago and my legs haven't been the same since.
As you can imagine this will be a HUGE challenge for me but I'm willing to put in the hours and hours of training required and a whole lot of blood, sweat and tears and take on the Tough Mudder in order to raise a few bob for the MNDA.
Please give whatever you can. Even the tiniest amount will make a difference!
Many thanks,
Ellie x
