Hey everyone! We will be aiming to climb the National Three Peaks in under 24 hours in order to raise money for  Teenage Cancer Trust.

Around seven young people aged between 13 and 24 are diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK. They need expert treatment and support from the moment they hear the word ‘cancer.’ TCT are the only charity dedicated to making this happen.

The charity creates world-class cancer services for young people in the UK, providing life-changing care and support so young people don’t have to face cancer alone. 

We start by tackling Ben Nevis at 8.30am on the 17th July, before travelling to Scafell Pike for an evening climb and then we finish with a 3am climb of Snowdon - head torches at the ready! We aim to have completed Snowdon by 8.30am on 18th July, so we have to get a wiggle on.

We will be walking a total of 23 miles, with a climb of 3064 metres (or 10,052 feet for those living in imperial times) and covering a driving distance of 462 miles. Let’s hope we don’t all annoy each other and there’s ample leg room in the car.

We feel equally excited and terrified at this prospect. None of us are particularly experienced walkers, other than the daily journey from our house to our car, so we’re expecting blood, sweat and tears.
