Story
Two years ago today (5th Feb) I was admitted to recuss at Broomfield Hospital with Diabetic Ketoacidosis. It was the scariest time of my life, I didn't even know then that it could be fatal. I was seriously ill and it took a really long time for me to feel like I was back to normal.
Now that I'm completely better I'd like to be able to raise some money for Diabetes UK by doing a skydive. Hopefully in the future they will be able to find a cure for diabetes or develop more advanced treatment to make sure that other people won't have to go through what me and my family did. I'm so grateful that I'm well enough now to be able to do something like this.
Diabetes UK are a great charity who continue to research into finding a cure and help and support people when they need it, and any donations will be very gratefully received. Plus you get to laugh at me jumping out of a plane and I can promise that I'll be terrified and it will be funny, so get donating.
