<p><strong>The Reason.....</strong></p>
<p>Ellie is my nine year old little girl and was diagnosed with Leukaemia in Feb 2011. She is being treated at the Sheffield Childrens Hospital on the speacilist cancer ward where children from all over the country attend for treatment and care.</p>
<p>Ellie has been so grateful for all the games and crafts that they are able to use, provided to the ward by charitable donations. She has been on the receiving end of generous donations herself but also raised funds herself by donating a huge bear of her own to raffle off, raising over £300 for PACT in June 2011.</p>
<p>A few of us, six so far, have decided to walk the three Yorkshire Peaks - the three highest peaks in Yorkshire - to raise money for the huge amount of work that PACT does for both the children and their families.</p>
<p>The walk is approx 25 miles and we aim to try and walk it in the official time scale of under 12 hours on the 3rd September 2011!!</p>
<p>Wish us all luck as we walk, scrabble and stumble the whole 25 miles, but more important, please make a donation however small or large and know you're making a real difference to the lives of children with cancer and their families. </p>
