My story

NONE OF THE MONEY RAISED WILL GO TOWARDS PAYING FOR THIS TATTOO!
I plan to get a sponsored tattoo of a poppy on my left calf.
The reason I'm getting this tattoo and asking people to sponsor money for me is because the majority of my family have served in the Army - back many generaions but my parents met in the Militry and I feel like I should give something back to them, my other ancestors and all of the other lives that are being given and taken to fight.
It frustrates me when people don't pay their respects or tribute to those who have served and are still serving in the British Armed Forces, whether from England, Northern Ireland, Scotland or Wales. When the poppies were burned on November 11th, my heart broke as they were not only disrespecting the lives that had been lost but they were also disrespecting their families, their friends and entire British Nation.
I plan to get the tattoo this November, to show my support in the Armed Forces.
Please support our troops as they are often forgotten. They deserve more than one day a year of rememberance.
