I've lived in person the nightmare of losing my home from one day to another. I was only 10.

I remember it clearly, I was playing with my toys and then I've heard people screaming. Those screams were saying to get out from the building, the flames were coming up quickly. 

From that day, the day that I've lost everything, I've became an adult.

We often forget how lucky we are in having a dry and warm place to stay when it's cold, sometimes we even complaint when the window is open and the warmth of our place escapes to give space to the sharp and cold wind. We stand up, we close the window and we get comfortable again.

An increasing number of people, unfortunately, are not so lucky.

I'm here now to help my company support the Winter Night Shelter and the amazing job that they are doing to keep as many people as possible off the streets during the coldest months of the year and help them as well to prevent homelessness from happening.
