We provide much needed support for families to help people affected by a brain tumour

Story

We did it! We rolled back into Crystal Palace Park at 7.34am, 108km under our belts and a wide range of aches and muscle pain about our bodies!

It was a fabulous experience but at times a gruelling one - I can safely say Ally Pally hill is evil on two wheels. Thank you for all your sponsorship which kept us going round, and if you've not yet donated, thank you for looking now and please add a little to the total, it really is appreciated!

Training Updates:
This cycling lark is hard work! I've extended my route home via all of the Isle of Dogs a lot over the past few months, and weekend training rides have been great if tiring!
The last big training ride has now been completed - taking the train out to Farnborough to cycle back up through Woking, Byfleet and Richmond Park, then up into central London and out to Liverpool Street, getting soaked along the way! The surrey canalsides are rather posh, don'tcha'know...

--------------

On the 11th of June, I'm going to cycle 100 kilometres round London overnight, from Crystal Palace back to  Crystal Palace. I think that classes it as "the long way round", and it'll take about 7-8 hours cycling.

Seeing as I only properly got back on my bike last week since the autumn, and my usual trip length is about 6miles, that's going to be a challenging step-change! Being the wheezy, slightly unfit type isn't going to help either...

It's all in memory of a great friend - Iain Elliot, who died last year from a brain tumour. I'm raising money for Hammer Out, a charity supporting people in the same situation in the south west, and one Iain cheerfully advocated.

I'm covering all the costs of this myself, so whatever you give isn't paying for my idiocy! So please dig deep...
