Baby Beat is part of Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Charity, funding specialist equipment, patient comforts, clinical care, local research, additional training & staff welfare projects so that the maternity & gynaecology teams can offer the best possible outcomes for babies & mums in the area.

Emilia was born 2 month premature on Christmas Eve 2010 at Rochdale Infirmary. She later transferred to the Sharoe Green Neonatal Unit at Preston Hospital where she spent the first weeks of her life. </span></span></strong></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="color: #ff00ff;"><strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-family: &quot;Comic Sans MS&quot;; mso-themecolor: text2;"><span style="font-size: small;">On Sunday 10th July 2011, Andrew Merry along with friends and family plan to ride the Manchester to Blackpool bike ride to raise money for the Baby Beat Appeal. </span></span></strong></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 140%; margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt; background: white;"><span style="color: #ff00ff;"><strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-family: &quot;Comic Sans MS&quot;; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: Arial; mso-themecolor: text2; mso-fareast-language: EN-GB;"><span style="font-size: small;">The past few months have not gone without problems but we are so lucky to have Emilia with us today.
