Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Last summer, I has an awful accident whilst horse riding which ended up in me being air lifted to Prince Charles Hospital in Merthyr Tydfil by the RAF Sea King.

The RAF were so quick to respond to the call from the Welsh Air Ambulance. I was petrified of being air lifted but the RAF were fantastic to me, reassuring me and were so friendly during the whole operation. Once inside the helicopter, we were at Merthyr within 7 minutes. Throughout the whole ride, they talked and joked with me to keep me awake, made sure I was warm enough and once in hospital, sat and waited with me to hand me over to the hospital doctors. They never left my side throughout all that pain.

This is just a way of me saying thankyou ever so much! They were a fantastic group of guys and because of them, I am now considering joining the RAF to help with the operations on the Sea King.

Thanks ever so much guys!
