Story
I have recently joined the Kenyan Orphan Project student programme where over the coming months I need to raise £800 for this fantastic charity.
Therefore, on May 20th, I will be tackling the Ben Nevis Challenge. Ben Nevis is the highest mountain in the UK standing at 1,344 metres (4,409ft) above sea level. It is known as one the UK's most challenging hikes, trekking approximately 10 miles (16km). It should take me 7-9 hours depending how well my training goes at the gym!
Please note that all the money raised goes 100% to the charity and not to the cost of my trip!
The money raised will go to projects which alleviate suffering and provide a better life for the world’s most impoverished children. The charity was initiated over 10 years ago by 3 medical students and since then the money raised has supported and constructed community hospitals, feeding centres, primary schools, street children centres, night shelters and much more.
If you can spare any money for this fantastic charity I would be extremely grateful. Any donation, big or small is welcome!
