Claire Hollingsworth and I have been friends for almost 7 years now and we've been doing joint ventures ever since I've known her. This time we're doing something mad and sporty to raise money for charity.

In the summer, Claire's going to be one of 3 doctors on a team of staff taking 24 disabled/disadvantaged young people on a watersports/camping holiday to South Africa - the kind of thing that Claire & I have enjoyed in the past ourselves. The charity's called JoLt, Journey of a Lifetime Trust and they've been taking kids away on holiday like this since the early 1980s!

We take it for granted that we can go away on exciting and adventurous holidays but through the financial and physical support of the charity JoLt these disadvantaged kids can go too.

SO, a small group of us including me and Andy, Claire and her brother Gareth and Co. are going to climb the UK's 3 highest peaks in just 24hrs and we're doing it on my birthday! So rather than any birthday presents this year just support us in our venture - it's a GREAT cause.
