Bonjour everyone!!

Thank you for taking the time to check out our page, as many may remember in September 2009, Emily completed her first triathlon for The Emily Ash Trust supported by her boyfriend and best friend Kerrie. This was after a long battle with cancer and proved that she had fully recovered and had won her fight against a disease that had put her life on hold. We were determined to do the Triathlon together in 2010. .

This year however, as both of us are in Paris during the Triathlon we decided to attempt our own charity run and to add a certain ‘je ne c’est quoi’ to our usual running gear!

So, in September we shall be running 10K in Paris through many of its famous monuments and sites. These include the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, The Louvre and many more and we will be finishing at the Arc d’triomphe.

Traditional French attire shall be donned during our run as we shall be wearing berets and stripy tops with the Emily Ash logo and moustaches if they stay on! We’ll be taking pictures of ourselves outside each monument which will be uploaded onto the Emily Ash website so you can all laugh at us looking like idiots and be supporting an absolutely fantastic cause.

This is all to support a wonderful charity who provide so much support to children and young people suffering with cancer and leukaemia. They also provide support to the families of those people as they can be very distressed too and time together as a family is so important when going through treatment. They also arrange sibling days to help support the siblings of those with cancer and to try to keep everyone positive and keep going. They helped Emily so much when she was going through such horrible and exhausting treatment. We need things to keep positive and keep on battling through the cancer and Emily Ash does just that. They are a charity that she holds close to her heart and it would be wonderful if we could raise a fantastic amount to help more children and young adults and their families!
