Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am raising money for Willberry Wonder Pony. The charity was set up by a young Eventer, Hannah Franis, after she fell at a competition and the pain carried on long after it should have done. She was later diagnosed with aggressive bone cancer. She lost her fight on 1 August 2016 aged just 18.
In memory of Hannah, The Wobbleberries Challenge has been set up. The aim of the challenge is to complete a British Eventing event at 80cm by the end of 2017 season. The criteria for being a Wobbleberry are:
1) Not currently fit enough to run a cross country course;
2) Not current brave enough to run a cross country course;
3) Dedicated - to raising money, to training and to conquering your fear;
4) Supportive of each other - aiming to be weeble-esque "we wobble but we don't fall down"; and most importantly
5) Old enough to know better and know that this will hurt!
For those that don't know, I currently have a horse called Jazz who could do a BE80 but is currently arguing with me at every turn so not only is it a challenge for me but it is a challenge for him too!
Thank you for visiting and, if you are donating, please remember to tick gift aid so the charity benefits and they can concentrate on #kickingcancersbutt!
