In memory of Joe Harris
We support projects and facilitate research to promote mental health

Story

In November 2017, Joe Harris, a very good friend of mine, tragically passed away whilst completing charity work in South Africa. Jarris and I became friends through Warwick Lacrosse 4 years ago now and he provided me with some of my favourite memories. He always had a smile on his face and enlightened everyone's lives he crossed. He always had your back and without fail would be there for you.

Jarris was patron of this wonderful charity, in honour of his uncle, which seeks to help fund projects which in turn help those suffering with mental health which is another matter very close to me.

I miss Jarris every day and if I can just give back in the smallest of ways by doing something he loved so much (and was very talented at) and for a cause he cared so deeply about, I will feel proud.

For this reason, I along with a group of Jarris' friends and family will be taking part in the Stratford Triathlon 2018 in his memory.

About the charity

Inspired by the lives of Dr Dominic Beer and Joseph Harris we fund raise to support community projects, raise awareness and facilitate research in order to promote improved mental health in two groups of people: adults suffering from Severe and Enduring Mental Illness and young adults
