Story
I am running the Edinburgh Marathon on the 26 May, and am raising money for a charity close to my family’s heart.
On the 25 September 2012 a friend and family member, Emily Mayo, sadly passed away. She was only 19 years of age, but in her time here she lit up many people’s lives. During her life she suffered from a condition known as lymphoedema, and as such I wish to raise money in memory of her for this charity.
Emily was a fun, happy-go-lucky girl who lived life to the fullest. She was always positive with a great outlook and never seemed to let anything get her down. Her infectious smile is something I, and anybody who met her will always remember.
