Barclays Wheels for Change 2016 · 9 September 2016 ·

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am cycling 100km again this year in Wheels for Change with Barclays in aid of the Princes Trust. As you know, I'm not a road cyclist and prefer the stationary fun of a 45 mins spin class at Psycle - but this will be a good test for me again and its for a really great cause.

The Prince's Trust is a youth charity that helps young people aged 13 to 30 get into jobs, education and training. They run a range of training programmes, provide mentoring support and offer financial grants to build the confidence and motivation of disadvantaged young people. Each year they work with about 60,000 young people, with around 80% moving on to Employment, Education, Training or Volunteering. I think you will agree, its a very worthy cause.
