Emily recently passed away, 5 short months after being diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. Emily spent her last few days at the Hospice of the Good Shepherd, close to her home in Chester.
All the staff at the Hospice do a wonderful job supporting patients like Emily and their families. The Hospice of the Good Shepherd is funded purely on charitable donations, and costs more than £6000/day to run.
Emily requested that instead of sending flowers, she should be remembered by giving a donation to the Hospice, or the charity she ran the London Marathon for in 2009; Save the Rhino International.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
