British Gas Swims Britain · 30 June 2013 to 1 July 2013 ·

We are Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. We stop at nothing to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. Because we believe no childhood should be lost to illness.

Story

I am completing the British Gas Swims Britain 1k challenge this weekend and would like to invite you to join the elite group of people who have sponsored me so far. As many of you know, I am swimming for two which has limited my swimming to the pool, and my training to the last minute but when Duncan Goodhew asks you (twice), it’s hard to say no! If you could spare a small note of sponsorship, it will help to spur me on come Sunday when I will be executing my own style of controlled drowning.

The money raised by British Gas this year is going towards the redevelopment of the Badger (respiratory) ward at Great Ormond Street Hospital, you can see more on what GOSH do at www.gosh.org. Over 1,000 British Gas staff are swimming on Sunday, and Lindsay Pearson is matching every kilometre swum by BGB finance (I am assured mine still only counts as one).

Thank you for your support.
