We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my page.

As many of you probably already know, my Dad and I successfully summited Mont Blanc on the 25th of June. It was by far the most challenging and exhausting experience of my life! But with the wonderful views and all the money raised so far, it was definitely worth it.

This fundraising is really important to me as my Grandmother in Canada has dementia and because I don't see her often her worsening symptoms are always more of a shock to me. Because of her condition I can hardly speak to her on the phone and when I do eventually see her it's difficult for her to communicate with me, let alone remember who I am. It's upsetting to see how dramatically she's changed over the last two years.

The Alzheimer's Society help and support people like my Grandmother and research into the cause, care, and cure of dementia. One in three of people over 65 will die with dementia so this cause is helping many.

I would really appreciate it if you sponsored me a bit - tell as many people as you can too!

Thank you!!
