At the start of last year you probably know that my mum Betty Boston passed away after a short battle with cancer. She was cared for at the end of her life by a fantastic hospice in Lincolnshire called Lindsey Lodge Hospice. I ran a 10k with my brother last year to raise money for the hospice and everyone was incredibly generous. Carl and I are running the same 10k race this bank holiday Monday to again raise money for this amazing place. Lindsey Lodge has to raise almost £1,900,000 per year in order to provide its invaluable services for the community and most of that comes from charitable donations. All services to patients living with life-limiting conditions, their families and loved ones are provided completely free of charge and that is why your donation matters so much. Every single penny of your donation goes towards ensuring Lindsey Lodge is able to continue to provide help for those with life-limiting conditions. The hospice was opened in September 1992 and provides loving, specialised nursing and medical care, which is sensitive to the needs of the individual patient and their loved ones.
