Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I was diagnosed with Adult Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia in October 2015 and I have had a rollercoaster of a journey since then. I have seen for myself how harsh the chemotherapy treatment and associated problems can be, with two near death experiences myself in just 7 months and witnessing others in the wards where I was being treated. Whilst there have been huge improvements over the years, there is still so much to be done to beat blood cancer.
I became a patient ambassador for Bloodwise because they have given me support when I needed it, provided a networth of others with a blood cancer experience and through research they have contributed to improving the understanding and treatment of blood cancer.
Bloodwise don't receive any government funding so they rely on their supporters to fund the amazing things that they do.
I'll be doing as many things as I can this year to try to raise vital funds and hope you'll join me :) xxx
