Thank you for taking the first step to helping us raise the £3 million a year it costs to keep the doors of Springhill Hospice open. The services we provide are free of charge. We care for adults aged 18 and over with a life limiting illness. As well as caring for in-patients we also provide respite care, pain and symptom control, counselling for patients and family members, a day hospice for out-patients, hospice care in the home and bereavement advice. Springhill Hospice have been amazing. They looked after Bernadette for the last 4 weeks of her life and continue to make sure my dad is ok and looked after. I believed the least I could do was push myself and do a half marathon in order to raise money for such a worthy cause.

p.s. bear in mind the longest race I have entered is a 10k and never ran more than 9 miles (which was with stops), I am now going to be doing 13.1 miles!!!
