I am slightly crazily joining Ben and Sam to raise money for two cancer charities as their Gran sadly passed away last year after losing her battle.

Half will go to the hospice who looked after her so well, and half will go to Macmillan cancer support who were also key to her care.

Ben and Sam are looking to do a two day 84mile run/hike across the width of the English/Scottish border following Hadrian's wall.    Hadrian's Wall extended west from Segedunum at Wallsend on the River Tyne to the shore of the Solway Firth, ending a short distance west of the village of Bowness-on-Solway.  Because I am not in the army and don't have stupidly long legs like Ben, I am going to cycle.  However, this is still going to be an epic challenge for me over the terrain involved.
