Thank-you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I have decided to try and do something brave in the hope that I can raise as much money as possible for this fantastic charity, Child's i Foundation. This is a charity very close to my heart, as I have watched my truly inspirational best friend Lucy go through the arduous process of setting up this charity and moving to Uganda to operate it.
In Uganda poverty, disease and violence are rife – which leads to hundreds of children being abandoned every year. Child’s i Foundation is helping solve this endemic problem.
"Our mother and baby centre gives vulnerable mothers the support they need to keep their children; our transitional home and family support centre provides quality short-term care for babies; while our placement programme ensures every child in our care grows up in a loving family in Uganda".

In the last 6 months the charity has set up two centres, and both are already full to capacity. So please dig deep and sponsor me to help Lucy and her fantastic team of volunteers.
