So, I have decided to run the Robin Hood half marathon with the University of Nottingham who are raising money for Children's Brain Tumour Research Centre as part of LifeCycle 7.

Over the past 6 years, Nottingham Life Cycle has raised over £2.6 million for life-changing research and student support.

2017 marks the 20th year that the Children's Brain Tumour Research Centre has been at the forefront of leading research. This year the aim is to raise £500,000 to celebrate this momentous mile stone.

Researchers are committed to enabling earlier diagnosis and finding safer more effective treatments. This will help give children affected by this disease, the best chance to live their lives free from major disability and the fear of the tumours returning.

All funds raised go directly to the researchers at the Queens Medical Centre.
