North East Sensory Services a local independent charity providing emotional and practical support to any one affected by a Sight or Hearing loss in the Northeast. NESS provide a wide range of services to improve the lives of Blind & Deaf people. NESS welcome your support to help them achieve this!

Story

<p>Aberdeen Universities Officers Training Corps are sending a team to take part in Aberdeen's Baker Hughes 10K run on 20th May 2012. We plan to have most of out participants&nbsp;running in combat boots, with a couple daring to run in with heavy rucksacks!&nbsp;This year we are raising money for North East Sensory Services (NESS). NESS works with over 3000 people suffering from hearing and sight loss in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire and Moray, giving them employment support, providing social groups and an extensive library of audio and audio-description books.</p> <p>Any donations, be it pennies are pounds would be greatly appreciated by the charity and the AUOTC Officer Cadets.</p>
