<p>Hi All,</p> <p>I have been given a fantastic opportunity to take a group of young people to Mexico to build a home for a homeless family.</p> <p>Our group will comprise of young people aged 13 and upwards and a number of adults to support and help out along the way, the group is mainly from our Church - Stafford Elim Christian Centre.</p> <p>This is a project being undertaken through a Christian Organisation - Urban Saints who undertake long term projects like this in deprived parts of the world, not just building the homes but&nbsp;building the infrastructure to support&nbsp;the community,&nbsp;you can find out more about their work at <a href="http://www.urbansaints.org">www.urbansaints.org</a></p> <p>Many fundraising activities have already taken place, such as:-</p> <p>Bag packing, zumba class, movie night, coffee mornings, wristband sales, etc.</p> <p>Things to come:-</p> <p>Bag packing, coffee morning, ironing service, youth concert, fashion show, mexican evening, spanish lessons, etc.</p> <p>If you want to know more information you can&nbsp;email me at:- <a href="mailto:em.hippy.chick@hotmail.co.uk">em.hippy.chick@hotmail.co.uk</a></p> <p>Whatever you can do to help will help change a families life for the better.</p> <p>You can look at past trips on youtube rebuild mexico.&nbsp;</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
