Riding for the Disabled incorporating carriage driving - 40th Anniversary Tandem Skydive · 21 March 2010 ·

RDA are dedicated to improving the lives of 39,000 children & adults with disabilities by spending time with horses, at over 450 groups all over the UK. Our beneficiaries experience significant improvements in physical & mental wellbeing, communication skills, relationship building & confidence.

Story

I am one of 40 volunteers who are skydiving on behalf of Riding for the Disabled Association, as part of RDA's 40th Anniversary Celebrations. We are each aiming to raise a minimum £400 for the charity by jumping out of a plane at 10,000ft!!

RDA is a fantastic voluntary organisation that delivers opportunities for therapy, achievement and enjoyment to adults and children with physical and learning difficulties. Significant physical improvements in mobility and co-ordination, as well as marked improvements in concentration and social interaction are just some of the therapeutic outcomes for the participants. RDA relies on more than 18,000 volunteers for over 500 Groups throughout the UK.

Please give generously to help support this excellent charity.
