My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
A very good friend of mine, Nikki Grame's son, was diagnosed with Atypical CF when he was just 3 weeks old. He continues to be well, but any support towards CF Trust helps to fund vital research to find better treatment and perhaps even a cure. Hope is on the horizon for their little boy.
CF needs more awareness as 1 in 25 carry the gene and if two people have the gene (like my friend and her husband) there is a 1 in 4 chance their baby will have it. Each week five babies are both with CF and it's one of the UK's life threatening inherited diseases. A lifetime of physiotherapy and medication is part of every day life for someone with it and life expectancy is currently around 40.
So please dig deep in your pockets, if you can, even just 50p or a pound all helps. it'd be immensely appreciated.
