Story
Parkinson's is a progressive neurological condition.
One person in every 500 has Parkinson's. That's about 127,000 people in the UK, and one of those sufferers is my Granddad.
On the 26th May 2013 I will be running the Edinburgh Marathon...yep a marathon..I still struggle to say that! I will be running for my Granddad and for all the people that are diagnosed daily with this condition.
Parkinson’s UK is an organisation that assists people and families through this condition and eventually with their crucial research we will find a cure. (http://www.parkinsons.org.uk/about_parkinsons/what_is_parkinsons.aspx)
So please dig deep and donate to this truly great cause..and for all of you people who think I won't make it round 26 miles..put your money where your mouth is and watch this space!!
Thanks again, Emma xx
