This year I'll be 40 years old. I don't really agree with being 40, I'm somewhat in denial about the whole thing....just to prove to everyone that my birth certificate is wrong I'm doing something I could've done when I was 20!

 

So, first off .... 2 weeks before my birthday me and a group of like minded pals are going to Bonny Scotland for the weekend to climb a great big hill. Well.... I say hill, We'll be the highest people in the UK when we reach the top.... Its Ben Nevis. We'll be climbing all the way to the top to eat birthday cake. 

Then, I'm taking part in my first triatlon one week after my 40th (or 20th x2) birthday. You all know I like throwing myself about to keep fit but I've never done anything this before.. I'm starting at the beginner level, it's only the minI triathlon but I'm not doing it just to 'take part'....I want to be good at it... I won't win but I'll give it my best shot.

I thought it'd be good to raise some money for charity, all that effort has got to be worth something.... I've chosen a local children charity, so please add a few quid to my pot if you can...
