Music evening and slave auction to raise funds and awareness for the work of Richmond's Hope · 8 January 2013

Richmond's Hope supports children & young people from Edinburgh, Midlothian, Fife, East Lothian, Glasgow & surrounding areas who have been bereaved. We provide children with a safe place to work out their grief through verbal/non verbal ways and provide individual programmes of care for each child.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In September 2012 Aimée and Olivers Daddy died.  Aimée was 4 and Oliver was 1.  Going from being a true Daddy's girl to having no Daddy there has been the hardest thing in the world for my little girl to try and comprehend.  Richmond's Hope is an amazing charity who has given Aimée a safe and welcoming environment to express herself and her emotions in.

The work the Charity does is so important and if you live in East Lothian, as we do, there is no funding from the local authority, so we are holding an evening of music in Pencaitland Bowling Club on Sat 23rd February from 7.30pm, along with a slave auction, in order to raise awareness for the tremendous work Richmond's Hope do and to raise some well needed funds, because unfortunately there are a lot of families out there in a similar situation to us.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

It costs £1150 to help a child and to date Richmond's Hope have helped over 1900 families.  So please dig deep and donate now.
