We fund care, campaigning and research to achieve a world free from MND

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This fatal disease (aka ALS) has unfortunately directly impacted on one of my long time colleagues and so MNDA was the only choice for our firm's charity this year.

With a team of 6 from my firm we are taking part in this 54 mile event, having no previous cycling experience.

MNDA were instrumental in getting Merton NHS to fund care without the need for onerous application forms or attending ATOS/Capital assessments.  A senior MNDA employee helped obtain further support from Merton NHS which allowed up to 10 carers over a week.

In 2017 the MNDA paid £929,000 to Kings College for their MND Care Centre and Research Centre meaning that expensive equipment was available to those that need it including an electric MND wheelchair with foot and head controls (£7,000), Eye recognition computer (£9,000) and an alternating air cell bed (£2,500).
