In September I will be trekking along the Salkantay trail for 6 days from the Mountain town of Cusco to Machu Picchu via mountain passes and jungle trails including the high pass of the Salkantay mountain, where I will reach to over 4000m above sea level. I am doing this in order to raise money for Make-A-Wish Foundation, a charity who grant magical wishes to enrich the lives of children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions. These wishes grant both the children and their family happiness and eternal memories at a time in which their world is being torn apart. Make-A-Wish have happily just granted their 1000th wish.
