We fund AADC medical & scientific research to improve the lives of our sick children

Story

Wow I have done it - jumped from 12,000 ft (it seemed higher!)

Jump was fab - would recomend it to everyone - please look at photos and all donations will go towards the research conference that is being held next month - good news they are working on a gene therapy which should improve the lives of children with AADC

thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. As a friend of the a co-director of The AADC Research Trust involved in the never ending task of fundraising I try to think of ways to raise money as well as setting myself a personal challenge. This time I am determined to conquer my fear of losing weight & flying in one go in order to raise much needed funds for Jake & all the other children worldwide who suffer from a rare brain neurotransmitter disease "AADC"deficiency. I am therefore taking to the skies over Headcorn, Kent to undertake a Tandem Skydive later this year on Sunday 11th September with Jacqui - by then i will have to have lost 22lbs in weight to be able to do the jump Full information of our aims & achievements to date can be found on our website www.aadcresearch.org PLEASE, PLEASE take a few moments to visit our site & see how your donations are so vital in helping these children When people say I must be crazy, my reply is "jumping from a plane at 13000 feet is nothing compared to the constant challenges, anguish & suffering faced by the affected children & their families" Please sponsor me for as much as you are able & listen out for the loud scream over Kent on September 11th! Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity. So please dig deep and donate now.
