Hi all

Just wanted to keep you all updated on my trek.

Firstly I want to thank everyone who has sponsored me so far, I have had a fantastic response and both the Rainbow Trust & I are very grateful for all your support to date.

On a separate note, the Rainbow Trust have unfortunately had a number of participants cancel their place on this Himalaya trek and due to this, have reached the difficult decision to cancel this trek in March due to it no longer being viable. They have however, asked me to transfer over to the next trek and do the same thing, in Peru two months later in May.

The challenge will be exactly the same, albeit a different mountain range, combining both local project work and a trek. The good news for you all is I now have a further altitude to climb of 995 metres, now reaching peaks of 4,200 metres and the good news for me is that I have a further 2 months to train and raise sponsorship for this additional challenge!
