We did it! We waved the Malawian flag on Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon. Not quite in the 24 hours, but if it wasn't for losing over 2 hours stuck in a major traffic accident, we would have done.  Other than a bit of mist on the top of Scafell Pike we had fantastic weather. And we entertained a lot of other climbers in our Hawaiian and golfing attire. Thank you all for your continued support and sponsorship. Over the 7^th/8^th August I’ll be attempting the national Three Peaks Challenge. I’m taking four wonderful friends (Laura, Chris, Abby and Becky) with me and we’ll have 24 hours in which to climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon - the three highest mountains in the UK.

I’m doing the Three Peaks Challenge for three reasons, the third being most important:

1. I’m a bit mad.

2. I’ve wanted to do this for a while; I tend to suffer mountain withdrawal symptoms quite frequently.

3. I’m fundraising for Malawi, a small African country for which I’ve developed a big passion after visiting last year.
