I am doing the 9 mile Bure Valley Railway walk on Sat 27 September to raise money for the Linda Walker Lavender Fund.

Linda was my friend Kerry's Mum, and died of cancer in January this year. She spent her entire life giving to others. She was always there for her family and friends and through her job as a physiotherapy assistant, a staff nurse and sister at the NNUH and later a practice nurse. Her family have set this fund up to give something back to other people going through the same as they have just been through and to continue her caring and giving legacy. This is the first fundraising event and I will be walking with Linda's family and friends to raise some money in her name.
